RECREATIONAL RIDES and events …WITH A CAUSE
The Gateway Cup is more than an event for racers. We feature recreational rides, runs, and events for people of all ages and athletic abilities.
Saturday Morning– Racers- sign up for a FREE event and pre-ride the course with participants from MANY local organizations that assist challenged cyclists. Share your love for cycling with some amazing kids, families, and friends. Riders- come ride and show that cycling is for EVERYONE at the Gateway Cup Ride to Unite. For one hour before Stage 2, The Tour de Francis Park- the course is open to everyone to enjoy an inspiring ride. Cost: FREE
Sunday Morning- In addition to supporting worthwhile organizations, recreational riders can take in the scenery of some of St. Louis’ beautiful and historic neighborhoods — even more incentive to get out for a Labor Day Weekend ride at Trailnet’s Giro della Montagna Ride.
Monday Morning – Start Labor Day off riding, running, or walking at one of our two events at the Benton Park Classic. Get moving and then spend the day exploring the historic Benton Park neighborhood. Cycle for the City is a recreational bicycle tour that takes in a very cool lap of the St. Louis and its greenways. Or….lace up your kicks and participate in the Race for Reconciliation, a walk/run with a powerful message.
