Electrician:
Friday Only
Yes, we actually need one qualified electrician at 2:30 pm on Friday at Lafayette Square to set up the electrical panel on a generator. We have the electrical permit, just bring your own wrench.
Water:
For one or all four days
One person needed to pack coolers and transport drinks to race site. We will provide 2 water jug coolers and 5 other coolers to hold 4 cases of water and 1 case of Coke each day. A budget will provide you the rest.
Corner Marshall:
All Days
2.5 hour shifts
Responsibilities include keeping folks out of harm’s way as well as reporting incidents to the pace vehicle or follow vehicle. Stylish vest and talkie provided.
Set Up:
Each Day
5 people
Show up 3 hours prior to start of the first race. Place the straw, mats, road blocks, cones, caution tape, and detour signs, all of which hopefully help save our butts. Throw in hanging up a few banners and pitching a few tents and tables, and you have a complete workout.
Take down:
Each Day

Immediately after the last race, undue what the set up crew did. Usually takes about 2 hours. Very rewarding.
Registration:
Each day
2 people
Register cyclists, data entry, and hand out the payout, prizes, primes and kisses. Point volunteers in the right direction. Report to duty 1 hour prior to first race of the day.
Kids Races Registration:
Each day
2 people
Help register the wee ones, give them their t-shirts. Pass out medals at the finish line. Report one hour before the scheduled kid’s race.
Kids Races Starters:
Each day
4 people
Help wrangle the kids into age groups and to the best of your ability, start them racing towards the finish line. We will supply the age group signs to hold.
